Kembangan Sub-district Now Has 60 Infiltration Wells

Kembangan Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Unit, West Jakarta, continues to build infiltration wells in 6 urban villages. Until today, 60 infiltration wells have been built and provide benefits during rainy season.

Kembangan SDA Unit Head, Mulyadi stated, infiltration wells are built with diameter 120 centimeters and depth around 2-3 meters. Those are built to anticipate inundation during rainy season and drought during dry season.

"There are 60 infiltration wells in Kembangan up to this day. We will build another infiltration well as many as we can," he stated, Wednesday (1/29).

According to him, those infiltration wells have been built in schools, urban village offices, sub-district office, health centers (Puskesmas), parks, and others. Moreover, several people asked his side to build more infiltration wells after they understand the benefits.

"Now, many people ask us to build infiltration wells. Around 4-6 personnel are deployed for this request," he explained.
